The Medical Doctors occupy the number one position in medicine not because they are better but because they legislated themselves into power they forced their way into first place and they have aggressively kept all other medical practitioners off the playing field and this all happened before most people in the year 2015 were even born, in the early 1900s something called the Flexner report changed the way medicine is practised not just in the United States but all around the world, in the late 1800s and early 1900s it was a level playing field and no one had the upper hand, you had the chiropractics the naturopaths the homeopaths the herbalists and the MD’s and for everyone it was the same for territory and patient's and no one had the upper hand, then the Carnegies came along Andrew Carnegie & the Rockafellas hired a gentleman called Abraham Flexner to go all around the United States and take an inventory of all the medical schools and hospitals that practiced Apophatic Medicine if took Flexner 5 year to do this, He brought the list back to the Carnegies & Rockafellas infamously referred to as the Flexner report & the Carnegies and Rockafellas give millions of free money to the medical schools and hospitals which practiced allopathic medicine they also glad-handed legislators to pass laws to make it illegal to practice medicine unless you were a MD practicing allopathic medicine delivering pharmaceuticals, this was the beginning of the end of all other medical practices and this is why all other medical practices are currently referred to as alternative, not because there substandard but because MD’s have occupied first place seat for so long that this is just what we have become used to, your medical Doctor owns the monopoly on the delivery of medicine and they have for the last 100 years and it’s not because their therapeutics are better our health has been getting worse and worse while we have given ourselves over the MD’s but because of the cultural myth that holds then up and because of the monopolistic stranglehold over the delivery of medicine we have become socialised to believing they can do no wrong, they have become a self policing self regulating industry and when they fail us when they harm us when they bankrupt us and when they kill us we give them a pass, its time we all collectively woke up took a look around gained perspective on the delivery of medicine and took a better path make a better choice, naturopathic choice wholistic choice is a superior choice when it comes to treating chronic disease.

Fasting quite often conjures up the idea of religious or spiritual beliefs, or you cant join a religion unless you water fast for 30 days but even these old ways have become less rigorous, however, there is a lot more to fasting also known as time-controlled eating, Just like a lot of people I used to eat round the clock, from the moment I woke up, till I went back to bed then quite often up through the night for snacks, not having something to eat for longer than 2 hours seemed life-threatening, never did the thought of fasting cross my mind, I never could see the point to go hungry and after all, we are always told to eat regularly to keep our strength up, which might be a good idea if you’re a professional athlete, or pregnant or for some medical reason, but for the average everyday person what we are told is disinformation. just like us, our digestive system needs to rest also.

But starting to implement time-controlled eating seems daunting and deprived and hungry, if someone tells you by eating 20% less for the rest of your life then people just want to continue eating as they always have, but it's just resetting and re-adjusting we learn by repetition soon it becomes very normal without even giving it a second thought, you don’t feel deprived or envious of other people. There are so many different methods, from long extended fasts to intermitting fasting, which is the best and why even do any time restrictive eating. That also is a free radical, but it's extremely important that we understand that it's about the excessive oxidative processes going on. We have our body's natural antioxidant systems already, and we have to have that in order to fight against this toxicity of oxygen.

Plants, for example, one of the reasons why eating plants, we get antioxidants from plants because plants also developed ways to handle this toxicity of oxygen. So, plants develop antioxidants. When we eat the plants, we get some of those antioxidants, that's how this process works.

Protein structure is essential. the amino acid sequence of a protein determines its 3D structure. Folding of proteins into their correct structure is key to their function. Failure to fold properly produces inactive or toxic proteins that malfunction and cause many diseases.

If your proteins are folded correctly and the right structure is the fundamental principle of biology and biochemistry, that structure dictates function. So, if you don't have the correct structure, then they're not going to function correctly.

Even genetically, if you have a consistently upregulated of the Nrf2 pathway, (A major mechanism in the cellular defence against oxidative stress) this can cause more antioxidants. When you have this, then you end up having a lot of other problems – cardiomyopathies which is negatively affecting its ability to maintain a normal electric rhythm and/or pump enough blood to the body causing heart valve problems and even heart failure so this over the reductive environment in the cells can lead to a lot of problems, that's why taking lots of antioxidants all the time it simply causes a lot of problems. I read about quite a lot of clinical trials they had to stop because those taking these antioxidants were dying faster than those taking the placebo. antioxidants can even increase oxidative stress because they can increase the Fenton reaction cycle (creation of hydroxyl radicals)and redox cycling, and end up being potent pro-oxidants so you have to be very careful.

It can improve circulation, decrease blood pressure, relieve aches and pains, and reduce your levels of stress helping to relax you. This in turn can help you sleep better and we all know how great we feel after getting a good nights sleep! Before I go on to tell you my favourite sauna and why, firstly I will give you a basic run down of the fore main types of saunas.

Finland is known to have some of the earliest known saunas. The oldest known saunas in Finland were made from pits dug in the ground, used as a dwelling in winter. The sauna featured a fireplace where stones were heated to a very high temperature. Water was thrown on the hot stones to create steam, creating such high heat.

As times changed so did the sauna. The fireplace was replaced by wood burning metal stoves that had a chimney to allow the smoke to escape and further evolution of the sauna, including the electric sauna stove allowing a way to control the heat to a more accurate level. It also provided the user the convenience to pre-heat the sauna without building a fire. The electric sauna stove was the beginning of the indoor sauna room, you could now have a sauna without a chimney or a fire. The sauna evolved again with the introduction of the far infrared saunas that have gained popularity in the last decade.

While the methods of heating the different types of saunas have changed, the sauna is the only place where both high heat and low humidity are used, the water added to the sauna creates the humidity this is referred to as a wet sauna, without water it is known as a dry sauna, the only difference being a personal preference. All sauna are therapeutic and healthy but there are some factor to be aware of.

Steam saunas requires water the problem is fluoride and chlorine, fluoride is difficult and costly to remove or filter out of the water supply, there are maps of the UK to check your levels of fluoride in our area, also worth checking is fluoridealert.org and fluoride.org. but to be on the safe side it's just best to avoid fluoride as much as possible through filtering or distilled.

As already mentioned Infrared saunas have quickly became very fashionable, there is Far Infrared, Near Infrared and Full Spectrum Infrared. Nano Carbon Infrared Panels had a boom in sales offering low or zero Emf's, backed up with youtube demonstrations by using a gauss meter to proving the electric fields are in-fact low or zero, The problem with this is using a gauss meter to check the electric fields is like using a petrol meter to check your vehicle is free of red diesel !

My Infrared Sauna and cabin had all of these all in a beautiful red cedar wooden cabin, albeit the 5 heater panels fitted are the older type Far Infrared Heaters made from 100% pure ceramic which emit lower Emf's than the carbon heater panels, however, there are grave concerns from the lairs of electric fields from the ceramic panels which are nowhere near the levels or low to be anywhere in the safe zone, which sent me on the journey to find the only EMF free near infrared panel and the abundance of health benefits.

After all the marketing strategies from different companies, inconclusive & conflicting information and what to believe & not to believe about which is the best sauna. Incandescent heat lamps don’t produce as much ambient heat as a far-infrared emitter or traditional steam sauna (inside air temper) because it doesn’t have to. The tungsten-filament bulb not only emits the correct wavelengths of light necessary for light therapy, but they also emit exclusively near-infrared light and red light. Tungsten does not emit any significant amount of mid-infrared or far-infrared wavelengths of light. And Red-Filtered Incandescent Heat Lamps also don’t emit any UV or blue light, so no killer wavelengths, as the sun emits.

Why does Near-Infared Light Penetrate Tissue More Deeply that Far Infrared Light ?

The human body has an optical window of light absorption of 600-1150nm. That’s because haemoglobin absorbs almost all light below 600nm, which is all visible light except red light.

On the other side of the optical window, water absorbs all light of wavelengths greater than 1150nm.

Far infrared light wavelengths start at about 3,000-10,000nm, so all far-infrared light wavelengths are completely absorbed by water molecules

Since we have water molecules everywhere in our bodies, it’s obvious that far-infrared light won’t ever penetrate deeply; it is blocked by water in all tissues.

More importantly, even when far-infrared light manages to penetrate up to 1.5-2 inches into human tissue, it DOES NOT activate any cellular regenerative or anti-ageing systems of healing. It only provides a heating effect on the cells.

Far Infrared Saunas Are the Wrong Wavelength use Inferior Technology & Lack Smart Design.

Far infrared saunas use heating elements that mainly emit light in the far-infrared range (NIR-C, 3000nm – 1mm).

These far-infrared heating elements typically emit harmful levels of EMF. which I have already explained earlier

Far infrared sauna manufacturers are forced to use expensive metal shielding to lower these high EMF levels, which increases costs & results in decreased far-infrared light emission into the sauna. The mitochondria are the batteries that fuel all the processes of our organs. When red and near-infrared light photons hit the photo-acceptor cytochrome c oxidase, it helps the mitochondria use oxygen more efficiently to produce ATP.

Mechanism 2: Hormesis

Near-infrared and red light therapy work is through hormesis. Hormesis is the process by which a transient metabolic stressor stimulates adaptations that actually improve health. This may sound like an odd concept at first, but you’re more familiar with it than you realize – exercise is a type of hormesis. Red and near-infrared light promotes a very low level inflammatory response. Near-Infrared Light Therapy or Near-Infrared Sauna?
